Operations Security Expert – Op Sec

Mimirio builds an AI platform that turns scattered company data into trustworthy answers and next steps. As Operations Security (OpSec) Specialist you will ensure that operational processes, systems, and information are protected against unauthorized access, misuse, and information leakage. You will also support the rollout of Mimirio to customers.

What you will do

  • Assure operational security of our product
  • Identification, documentation & improvement of weaknesses within the security infrastructure
  • Analyze operational processes to identify security risks and potential information leaks
  • Support security incident handling, root-cause analysis, and train lessons learned
  • Planning and implementation of measures to assure security standards (e.g. NISG, ISO 27001/27019, Cobit) and industry-specific security requirements
  • Operate internal IT services
  • Support rollout and operate Mimirio on customers IT infrastructure

What we are looking for

  • 4+ years of experience in the field of IT Operations and/or IT Security
  • Deep understanding of IT security in network technologies, operating systems, server technologies and cloud solutions as well as threat models, and attack vectors
  • Knowledge of state of the art security technologies and products
  • Experience developing policies, procedures, and security awareness initiatives
  • Security certifications or equivalent excellent knowledge and willingness to dive deep into international security standards and their requirements (ISO 27001, Cobit)
  • Experience operating Azure or AWS cloud services
  • Knowledge of Terraform and other infrastructure automation technology
  • Solution-oriented, analytical, and methodical working style
  • You need a valid work permit for the EU
  • Part-time or Freelance opportunity. Real employee, no agencies
  • Communicating in English (C2-C1) feels natural to you. Du kannst auch Deutsch, umso besser
